Wood & Wall Spray Painting

If you have multiple ceilings and walls within your property that are mis coloured or in need of redecorating, then you should consider the benefits of using professional spray paint decorators.

Lord Hart Decorating offer a specialist walls & ceiling spraying service to home owners, landlords and property professionals. We can re spray all types of previously painted walls and ceilings with the benefit of providing a better finish than will be possible with a brush and roller. We also spray paint new plaster which provides a completely smooth finish throughout, meaning no brush or roller marks.

Spray Painting Benefits:

  • Quicker on large areas
  • Highly Cost Effective
  • Completely Smooth Finish

Our spray professionals will first carefully prepare the surfaces by thoroughly cleaning the ceilings and walls where required. Next they will mask and sheet up the surrounding areas as required, in order to protect the rest of your property and any contents. The spray paint is then applied by our highly experience technicians using the Graco paint spray and jet roller systems. These high end airless systems enable us to keep overspray controlled and ensure uniform coverage to a high standard and professional spray paint finish.

Spray Painting Process

Preparation

Good preparation is the foundation of any successful job. This starts with a thorough cleaning of all surfaces to be sprayed. Once the surface is clean and dry, Lord Hart will make any necessary repairs, filling any scratches or cracks. If necessary, the team will sand the surface and apply a primer. In most cases, a primer is not needed as our high-quality paints do the job well enough, although this extra step is taken if the item has a very dark finish. The surface is wiped down to remove any residual dust.

Removing the fittings

Handles, hinges, and all external fittings are removed to protect them. New fixtures can be fitted, and this should be arranged beforehand as we may need to fill old holes and drill new ones.

Masking

Any sections, surfaces or fittings that can’t be removed or are not to be sprayed are covered with masking tape to ensure the best results. The aim is to make the furniture look as if it was always this colour!

Spraying time

This requires precision and skill, and this is where Revamp Spray excels. Our expert furniture painters apply a base coat that acts as a primer, followed by two more light coats of paint, allowing time to dry between coatings.
